It’s proven: Spanish is the happiest language!

Not that it surprises us, but here’s the proof: Spanish IS the HAPPIEST language. In no other language, words related to ‘love’ and ‘laughter’ are used that much as in Spanish.

A team of researchers of the University of Vermont made a database with billions of words used on several platforms, including Google Books, Twitter, subtitles on films and TV shows, song lyrics and the New York Times in Spanish, Chinese, English, French, Portuguese, Arabic, Indonesian, Korean, Russian and German.

10.000 of the most commonly usded words were listed as either positive and negative, and guess what: In Spanish, primarily positive words are used a lot!
