Watch: The first Spanish Netflix movie 🎥
Hooray! Netflix released its first Spanish movie. 7 Años (Seven Years), which is released in 190 countries, is recorded and produced in Spain.
The leading roll of the movie, which is produced by Roger Gual, is played by Paco León. 7 Años tells about four friends who also are coworkers. They are forced to make a difficult decision when one of them has to sacrifice himself to safe the others for a personal and financial downfall.
Next to Paco León, also Alex Brendemühl, Manuel Morón and the Colombian actors Juana Acosta and Juan Pablo Raba will star in this movie.
Spanish Netflix serie
Earlier this year in March, Netflix ordered its first Spanish serie, produced by Carlos Sedes. Las Chicas del Cable (The girls of the cable) is about four women from different origins who work together as telephonists at the headquarters of the Spanish national phone company. The serie, seven episodes of fifty minutes, plays in the twenties. Las Chicas del Cable will air in 2017.
